Uiseong Sports Complex

In order to support the residents' sports activities, the grass fields and sports complex with urethane tracks were constructed by investing 15 billion won in 1991. The sports complex is ordinarily open for free for anyone to use it. And it is contributing to promotion of health of the county residents by using it every October as cultural event hall for the residents' athletic meeting, "Uiseong-gun Residents' Athletic Meeting" and "Ga-eul-bit Goun Grand Festival"

Uiseong Curling Center

Uiseong Curling Center, which is the only curling center in the country, is a mecca of Korean curling, under the management of the Gyeonsangbuk-do Curling Federation. It is the only curling center of international standard in the country, which is making great contributions to Korean curling by finding and fostering players and improving skills since its opening.

Uiseong Gymnasium

It is a multipurpose indoor gymnasium used by 30,000 people. Since its opening in 2001, it has been helping the county residents with sports activities and used as facilities for all kinds of sports and cultural events.

Uiseong-gun Youth Center

It was established in order to provide various kinds of training space for healthy cultural, arts activities and sports to local youths, and to improve quality of life in the residents through promotion of welfare. It offers sports courses in swimming, dance, and health club, and is operating lecture programs such as computer class, Chinese character class, classes in classic guitar and drums.

Uiseong-gun Sports Center

Sports space for revitalization of Uiseong-gun residents' sports for all; carry out social values as social welfare facilities, local community space

Uiseong Gateball Court

As an indoor gateball court built in 2006, it is a stadium, equipped with 7 side courts, able to host a national athletic meet. With the increase of elderly population, it is contributing to revitalization of elderly culture for health and recreational activities of the elderly.

Other

There are sports facilities for expanding the base of sports for all within the region, and for health improvement, such as tennis court equipped with 6 side courts and lighting system, and Uiseong Sports for All Baseball Park where formal baseball games can be played
