Area
- Uiseong-gun stretches across 1,174.9㎢, which is 1.2% of the entire land area of Korea and 6.2% of Gyeongsangbuk-do. The county features forests (830.5㎢, 70.7%), fields (214㎢, 18.2%), and rivers (32.3㎢, (2.8%). Its largest administrative district is Oksan-myeon at 103.8 ㎢, while the smallest is Danbuk-myeon at 23.9 ㎢.
- Gaeum and Geumseong-myeon have the largest share of arable land and vast fields. Meanwhile, the area from Bongyang-myeon to Bian, Gucheon, Danmil, Danbuk, Angye, and Dain-myeon feature more rice paddies than fields, and Angye Plain is considered one of the best bread baskets in Gyeongsangbuk-do/ Other areas are mostly forests or flat but narrow strips of land.
